LOOKING FOR THE CHEAPEST AND NEAREST BEACH NEAR THE METRO?
Probably this is the most nearest destination in batangas
for a short vacation even if it’s not summer.
“BUROT BEACH”
For about 3 hours from the metro, burot beach is easy to
access without any hustle .before you reach this relaxing place you will pass
through the city of tagaytay.
Travel guide on how to go there.
by commute:
- Take a van in pasay rotonda(at the back of kabayan hotel) bound to calagatan fare is 180.00 pesos first trip is 04:00 am in the morning, the van will drop you off at the market where in you can buy all the things that you needed, there are karinderya as well at the market so you can take a breakfast before you go to the beach.
- From the market hire a tricycle going to burot beach fare is 50.00 pesos each, expect a rough travel since road is not yet develop.
- Entrance fee is “ wow” quite expensive 120.00 pesos. Table can be rented for 300.00 pesos it’s optional.
- Going back is the same you need to get the number of the tricycle driver so that he can fetch you :back to the market where van is waiting there back to manila.
You can enjoy the creamy white sand and it’s beautiful
sunrise and sunset, when it comes to the beach
I would rate burot as OK, it’s
because it’s not really as beautiful compare to other beaches that I been too specially during low
tide. Water is clear on the deep part but not near the shore, it’s kinda
grassy. However it’s still quite relaxing you can still do a lot of things in burot since it has long stretch of shore,
good for team building.
There are no accommodation in
burot beach, so it’s back to
basics you can do camping and make sure you bring every material that you need,
electricity is only available at the store and at the guard house that ran through a generator so technically
speaking there is no electricity make sure you bring your flashlight or
emergency lights.
THE BEACH AND THE SHORE
Water source is ok but only good for washing and bathing not
for drinking so bring lots of water as well, common bathroom is available but
to set your expectation it’s not really
good there some holes and the toilet bowl is kind of dirty.,(excuse me) but
it’s true I don’t know why the
management or the care taker did not put an effort to improve on that matter specially there are
some visitors that looking for at least
a good one, despite of a quite pricy entrance fee.
If you’re fun of snorkeling, I suggest go to this part it’s
because marine life is quite abundant.
Well it’s for you to find out about this beach so what are
you waiting for, packed up and explore.
